This list is what your artist needs to build his/her art kit. It's easiest to use this Amazon list, but please do what is best for you---some items can be purchased in other stores and many items are just examples of what can be purchased. Feel free to ask me if you have questions about alternative options. The most essential items to get for your child's art kit are:
sketch book paper (or heavy art paper or even cardstock)
construction paper in multiple colors
paint (tempera is okay to get for this age group because it is washable)
a smock or old shirt
a box (cardboard/plastic with a lid) to store all art supplies
white glue (Elmer's Glue-All is preferred)
